KUNR is once again among the community nonprofit organizations helping sponsor the Family Estate Planning Series, presented by the Community Foundation of Western Nevada and Channel 5 KNPB Public Television.
The free series is held twice on Wednesdays through May 6. The series is just getting underway, with the opportunity for participants in our area to sign up and attend the remaining six sessions.
The sessions are designed to build knowledge from one class to the next, so attendees are encouraged to sign up for the remainder of the entire series.
With the summary/introduction session completed, each of the remaining sessions focuses on timely and essential topics that include: Fundamentals of Estate Planning; Wills, Probate and Trusts; Advanced Estate Planning -- Estate, Gift, and Transfer Tax; Responsibilities of Fiduciaries, Executors, and Successor Trustees; Power of Attorney, Health Care Directives, DNRs, Ethical Wills; and Overview of Medicaid and Health Insurance.
