KUNR and the Joe Crowley Student Union Present the 2017 Manhattan Short Film Festival. The Manhattan Short Film Festival is screening in over 250 cinemas across 6 continents. You become the judge as you vote for your favorite film.

The event will take place on the 3rd floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union.


Showtimes:

Friday, September 29 - 7 p.m.

Saturday, September 30 - 2 p.m.

Saturday, September 30- 7 p.m.

Sunday, October 1 - 2 p.m.

The Final 10 Films are:
Do No Harm (New Zealand), Behind (Spain), Fickle Bickle (USA), Hope Dies Last (United Kingdom) The Perfect Day (Spain), Just Go! (Latvia), Mare Nostrum (Syria), Viola, Franca (Italy), In a Nutshell (Netherlands) 8 Minutes (Georgia).

KUNR - Reno Public Radio is home for the Manhattan Short Film Festival each fall and the Oscar-nominated films each spring. The station received the event from the Reno Film Festival, which closed in 2012 after more than a decade of serving the area with local film presentations. KUNR offers these film events as a community cultural film festival, not a benefit event.

 

 

KUNR is a listener-supported NPR (National Public Radio) member station providing the region with local and national news, information, entertainment, music and other cultural and community programming. KUNR is licensed to the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education, and has broadcast from the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, since October 1963.
