KUNR - Reno Public Radio is home for the Manhattan Short Film Festival each fall and the Oscar-nominated films each spring. The station received the event from the Reno Film Festival, which closed in 2012 after more than a decade of serving the area with local film presentations. KUNR offers these film events as a community cultural film festival, not a benefit event.
KUNR is a listener-supported NPR (National Public Radio) member station providing the region with local and national news, information, entertainment, music and other cultural and community programming. KUNR is licensed to the Board of Regents of the Nevada System of Higher Education, and has broadcast from the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno, since October 1963.
Thank you to our film partner, The Joe Crowley Student Union Theatre, for making this event possible. Student discount tickets available at the Student Union. The Joe Crowley Student Union offers the University and the Reno community multiple meeting spaces and related services.
