Denver-based composer Chappell Kingsland performs his own arrangements of Beatles tunes in a concert titled “Sgt Pepper and the Magical Mystery Piano.” As a solo pianist and organist, Kingsland’s concerts and recordings weave together art music and popular music into a uniquely personal synthesis.

Join us for an evening of unscripted theater, lovingly improvised just for you! In The Armadillo, our improvisors create comedy scenes on the spot inspired by entertaining true stories they’ve just heard for the very first time.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at renoimprov.org/events or at the door 30 minutes before the show. Intended audience 18+.

Estelle J. Kelsey Foundation Hands ON! Second Saturdays offers monthly free admission, hands-on art activities, storytelling, a docent-guided tour, live performances, and community collaborations. “Art Investigators” provides children the opportunity to engage with Museum staff and take a closer look at current work on view. New exhibitions, community collaborations, guest performances and monthly themes rotate in this engaging series of monthly programs.
