Weekend Edition Sunday is the Sunday counterpart to Morning Edition. It was the pivot-point, bringing NPR's programming to seven days a week. Weekend Edition Sunday brings news, analysis and features from NPR's team around the world. When Hansen is not in the studio interviewing movers and shakers in politics, science, business and the arts, she is out in the field reporting. She has been willing to be at ground zero of major events to the lighter side stories.
Every Sunday morning, nearly 3 million listeners tune in to hear a unique blend of news, features and the habit-forming puzzle segment with Weekend Edition's puzzlemaster Will Shortz, crossword puzzle editor of The New York Times.
