Talk of the Nation is NPR's midday news-talk show hosted by Neal Conan, most known for his ability to generate intelligent, thought provoking discussion on any issue. Focusing on current events and controversial issues, Conan is an extraordinary discussion leader from politics to the arts, welfare, education, healthcare, and more.  One thing is for sure, Conan will get right to the point. 

Talk of the Nation is a call in program airing from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.  Conan is a veteran reporter, editor, anchor and host for NPR news with a valuable introspective on developments marked by his clarity of speech and eloquence. Conan's insight focused on the most pressing contemporary issues facing the nation makes Talk of the Nation a staple for the well-informed listener.
