"How many have never been to a caucus before?" asks Phyllis Westrup, caucus chair for the Washoe County Republican Party.

Caucus chair Phyllis Westrup is surprised by how few people have done this before.
"To me that's amazing... and that's the way it was on Saturday, too."
Westrup walks the group of about 50 through the process step-by-step.
"When you walk in, there will be a group of volunteers there," she says. "You need to show a government-issued photo ID. ...This is our party's rules."
Tomorrow is the last day for Republicans to register to take part in the February 23rd caucus.
Westrup says there are about 450 precincts and 28 polling sites in Washoe County for this year's election.
Participants must be registered Republicans to attend, arriving between 6 and 8:30 p.m. to cast a ballot for their presidential preference.
Secretary of the Washoe Republicans, Barb Hawn, says there's a lot more momentum building up to this year's race.
"Right now there is no incumbent in the White House, so obviously both parties are very excited to see who's going to be in the White House in January 2017."
The county party says they've registered more than 8,000 new voters this year.
