"The Big Bonanza" A New American Opera Debuts In Reno

  The world premiere of a new American Opera, based on life in 1850’s Virginia City during the Comstock Lode, is coming to Nightingale Concert Hall April 8-10th.  It’s called, “The Big Bonanza” and is full of beloved characters from the Comstock including Dan Dequille and Mark Twain.   Danna O'Connor chats with the composer of "The Big Bonanza," Monica Houghton and Director of the NV Chamber Opera, Albert Lee.
